Mucus

My airways are all clogged shut

I don't feel I can breathe but

A cough will release

And bring me some peace

I spit it out constantly

Just lots of it inside me

It's yellow and green

My hankie's obscene

Coughing up a lung (This is a phlegmy issue)

Mucus on my tongue (and now it's on my tissue)

Green and chewy

That was in me !

I hack but there seems no end

I'm growing a juicy friend

It's coming from deep

I'm getting no sleep

I chew and I play with it

Don't swallow, I only spit

All over the floor

And yet here comes more
